Hey there,
Photography found me the same way it finds most people. Through a feeling I couldn't shake. That need to stop time. To hold onto something before it slips away.

I'm Ludgero. Portuguese-born, Australian-raised, now living in the south of France among the vineyards with my wife, our seven-year-old, and Marcel our French Bulldog.

My life is a patchwork of places, and maybe that's why I'm drawn to the moments that feel most real. The ones that happen between the posed shots.

I don't do stiff. I don't do awkward. For the candid moments, I disappear into your day. For your portraits, I step in. A gentle nudge here, a direction there. Coaxing out something that feels natural because it is. Great light, considered composition, nothing that'll make you cringe ten years from now. Either way, you come back with images that put you right back there. The weight of a hand on a shoulder, a laugh that caught someone off guard, the quiet moment nobody else noticed.

Before your wedding, I do my homework. A site visit if I can make it happen, or a deep dive online, conversations with your venue, studying the light and the layout. Whatever it takes to walk in on the day already knowing the place.

My work pulls from documentary, from editorial, from years of chasing the frame that actually means something. I'll show you moments you didn't know happened, details you were too caught up to see, and a version of your day that's entirely, unmistakably yours.

I speak English, French, and Portuguese. I offer half and full day packages. Half a day or the whole thing, I'm all in either way.
